Your Rights
The Board’s mandate allows you to apply for a review or an appeal if you believe that your rights have not been respected.
The Board may hear seven different types of applications as noted below:
- Removal of Crown ward Applications
- Complaints Against a Children’s Aid Society Applications
- Refusal to Adopt Applications
- School Board Expulsion Appeals
- Emergency Secure Treatment Applications
- Application for a Review of a Residential Placement
- Intercountry Adoption Applications.
