Review of A Residential Placement
The Child and Family Services Act, section 36, gives the Child and Family Services Review Board the mandate to hear applications from children and youth aged 12 and up who are requesting a review of their residential placement, in certain circumstances.
Residential placements include group homes and residential treatment centres (but not secure treatment facilities –see Emergency Secure Treatment Applications).
